The two most frequently asked questions from buyers are: 'Do you still have some?' and 'Where is it?'. Floriday provides insight into where the delivery is in the process. Orders are now scanned at multiple points in the logistics process, giving growers and buyers better visibility into where their goods are located and what step follows next. The more and better the delivery is scanned, the more complete the information.
The Fulfillment section displays all deliveries, including the Track & Trace information of the relevant carrier. You can also offer this insight to the buyer if you use your own transport or a dedicated owner-driver. This makes current status information of orders more clearly available in one central location.
On this page, you can read more about:
Track & trace information
To view Track & Trace information, go to Fulfillment > Fulfillment orders > Fulfilled orders. At the end of the line, you will see the transport status (provided the transport information / scan information is available).
By clicking on the line, you will be taken to the completed delivery itself. There, on the left-hand side, you will see the 'transport path' and the moments when a transport scan was made.
Delivery status
In the overview of fulfillment orders you can see the status of the transport by looking at the filled dots. The first status is that the delivery has been processed by you as the grower. At that moment, the buyer also know that the delivery is being prepared for transport.
The various possible statuses for a delivery are (depending on the type of delivery and whether or not RFH logistics are used):
Fulfillment order submitted
Departed from supplier
Received at dock
Order picked
Delivered at customer
Fully received
Scanning deliveries
You can also provide Track & Trace information for orders you deliver to the RFH location and/or buyer using your own transport or via a dedicated self-carrier by scanning the deliveries. This can easily be done via the Floriday screens using your mobile phone. You can also grant the carrier access to this section of Floriday so that they can scan the deliveries and pass on the information.
Hubscans
Hubscans for trade purchased via the Clock, Clock presales, and Daytrade (where order picking applies) are now also displayed in Floriday.
By clicking on the relevant delivery, you will see the scan times on the left:
Please note!
Scanning is only possible for the product groups to which order picking applies. In Aalsmeer, this is not yet possible for all product groups.
What does the buyer see?
The buyer has a separate Logistics menu. There, the buyer can view the deliveries, and the statuses are also displayed here:
The buyer can ultimately sign in the delivery as definitively received. That is the final status of the transport path.
