With Floriday Daytrade, we combine the advantages of auction logistics with the flexibility you as a grower are used to in direct trade. Market your supply earlier, reach more buyers, deliver greater volumes to the hubs and have Royal FloraHolland take care of logistics.

To offer Floriday Daytrade, a number of conditions and supply requirements must be met. On this page, we explain the following topics:

Conditions for using Floriday Daytrade

Delivery obligations

As a grower, you get to choose which locations the trade is for sale on even if it is still at your location. However, if order requests are placed on it, there is delivery obligation. And the order requests, along with batches going to auction at that location, must be transported to the location.

Delivery times

For each location, you specify what time your transport will arrive at that location. These times are shown to buyers to present additional delivery times, making your supply more interesting. The times you enter yourself must be fulfilled by the carrier. Otherwise, we will disappoint buyers.

Auction date

You can choose the date when your batches will be auctioned. For some products, this may also be a day later. To auction on a day, batches must be in at the Royal FloraHolland hub before 23:59. At 16:00, the batches will be finally assigned to the auction. You can change the auction date up to that point if necessary; after that it is no longer possible.

Cost

For Floriday Daytrade, the same rates apply as for supply on the Auction / Clock presale. We charge for a refrigerated or non-refrigerated cart, including the first night's storage. From the second night, we charge separately for refrigerated or non-refrigerated storage. This amounts to: €4.69 per night (weekends count as one night).

Supply requirements for Floriday Daytrade

  • The regular supply requirements for the clock apply.

  • Product labelling:

    • For flowers: Each container must have a container card.

    • For plants: A container card is not required.

  • The first container of each new batch must be clearly marked to indicate where a new batch begins, for example with a (coloured) sticker.

  • Each cart is given an SSCC label, and the cart structure must be maintained.
