By categorising your products from the catalog, you can present your shop to your customers in a clear and professional way. You can also use collections for catalog and supply management. On this page, we explain the following actions:
Create a collection
Go to My Shop > Collections. Previously, you could find the collections under Catalog.
Click the Add collection button.
Choose a Collection name and add a Description if necessary. Optionally, you can add a theme so that this collection becomes visible when a buyer filters on it. You can choose whether or not to display the collection. Should you set the collection only for supply management, you will not be able to show it. In addition, you can highlight the collection. It will then be given extra prominence at the top of the Shop.
Then add an image to the collection. The thumbnail is displayed as the default image with the collection. If you upload multiple images, they will be shown in the collection header.
For collection photos, we recommend a 21:9 aspect ratio so that the photo is displayed correctly within your shop. The recommended resolutions are 2560 × 1080 or 3440 × 1440 pixels.
Please note!
If no image is currently set with the collection, it will be hidden. Do you want to display it? Then it is important to check the settings and add an image to it.
On the right-hand side, you can add items to the collection. Within a collection, you can also highlight an item. Featured items are displayed larger in the Shop.
Next, you choose which items you want to add to the collection:
Have you filled everything in to your satisfaction? Then click the Confirm button at the top.
Once a collection has been created, you can highlight it. This gives the collection a prominent place at the top of your shop. You do this by turning on the slider under the Highlighted column in the collections screen:
You can also open the collection (edit) yourself and turn on the slider:
If you want to temporarily hide a collection, turn off the slider next to Show Collection. The collection remains saved, but is not visible to the buyer as a collection. This is useful, for example, if you have a Christmas collection or a Mother's Day collection that you only want to display for a specific season.
Within a collection, you can also highlight trade items as desired. When the buyer visits your shop and selects a collection, a highlighted item will be displayed larger.
Click on the collection, and on the right-hand side you can highlight the selected items:
Arrange trade items
Using the Arrange trade items button, you can easily and quickly place items into one or more collections:
To do this, click the + Add button at the back to link a collection to this item, or choose to select multiple items at once and add this selection to a collection all at once via the bar at the bottom.
Ordering collections
You can determine the order of the collections by dragging and dropping them. Click on a collection and hold it with your mouse to drag it. For example, you can put the most important collection at the top this way. It is then also shown at the top of buyers' Direct buying screen on Floriday.
Filter by collections
You can filter by collections in the Catalog. This can be done in the bar where it says - All collections. Here you can choose a collection you want to filter on.
Share collection
You can easily share a collection with buyers using a link and/or QR code. Go to My shop > Collections. Click on the three dots of the collection you want to share with the buyer and choose Share collection. You can copy the link or download the QR code here.
