With the trading settings in Floriday, buyers and growers can collaborate more easily and efficiently. You can easily configure how you want to trade with each other in one place in Floriday. This not only provides clarity, but also saves unnecessary work, prevents errors, and makes trading more enjoyable.
Both growers and buyers can view each other's active trading settings via the Network menu.
This page explains step-by-step how it works:
Available trade settings
Under General trade settings, you can specify how to handle things like corrections and orders that don't meet your delivery terms. This way, you can influence whether orders are approved or rejected. You can also create customer-specific settings within these settings, allowing you to make exceptions for specific buyers.
Under Features, you can let buyers know which functionalities align with the organization's business practices. For example, you can indicate whether or not you can or prefer to work with contracts, and whether you use stickers. Here, too, you can create customer-specific settings that deviate from the standard settings.
Please note!
You can only manage trade settings if you are the Floriday Administrator (main user).
Enable or disable trading settings for buyers
Go to Network > Network > Trade settings. You see an overview of all trading settings and functions. For each function there is a slider which you can use to activate or deactivate the function. This setting can be set for all buyers with the slider. Don't want to do that? Then you can also make an exception per buyer or for a group of your buyers using the customer specific settings.
Create exceptions for specific buyers
Go to Network > Network > Trade Settings. You'll see an overview of all trade settings and features. Each feature has a slider that allows you to activate (slide to the right) or deactivate (slide to the left) the feature for all buyers.
Want to configure settings per customer? Select the Customer specific settings button next to the setting or function.
You'll see a screen where you can add (or remove) buyers. To do this, click the Edit Organizations button.
You'll see all buyers active on Floriday. Use the search bar at the top of the screen to search and filter these buyers by name and whether they're already connected and therefore in your network. You can select buyers by clicking their name or the plus sign (+). Selected buyers will appear on the right in the Selected Organizations box. Then click Confirm in the top right corner.
Tip:
Create a customer tag. Before you press confirm, you can also save your full selection of buyers 'as a tag' under your own name. This is useful if you want to make more exceptions for othertrading settings. Read more about creating and using customer tags in this article.
You will see an overview of all the selected buyers for whom you create an exception. Is there a buyer among them to whom the exception does not apply? You can still change this by setting the green slider to inactive or by removing the buyer from the list by clicking on the three dots behind the buyer and removing them. When you are finished click on Save.
View trade settings of buyers in your network
Go to Network > Network > Customers in your network. You'll now see an overview of all your buyers in your network. Click on the buyer in question and go to the Trade Settings tab. You'll now see which trade settings are active for each buyer.
