Various buyers use direct connections to import your product supply into their own software systems. This can result in you receiving orders through a variety of channels. By routing the VMP connection between you and the buyer through Floriday, you gain a centralized overview of your connections and can verify (as can the buyer) exactly which products are being made available to them. The VMP connection allows the buyer to place orders directly from your available supply, eliminating the need for you to manually enter orders on their behalf.
You can send a buyer an invitation to set up a VMP connection. Once they accept the invitation, the buyer can configure the remaining settings.
On this page, you will find information about:
Submitting a request for a direct VMP connection
To set up a VMP account with a buyer, enabling them to purchase directly from your supply, you can easily create a request.
In Floriday, go to Network > Network and click the VMP accounts tab at the top.
Click the Add VMP account button to create a request for a VMP connection for a buyer.
Next, select the buyer you want to connect through a VMP connection:
After selecting a customer, you choose the delivery location.
Next, click the Add button, and an invitation will be sent to the relevant buyer.
Please note!
Upon accepting the VMP connection, a buyer can still modify certain settings, such as the delivery location.
You will now see the invitation listed in the overview with the status Pending. Once the buyer accepts the invitation, a green checkmark will appear.
If the buyer does not wish to accept the invitation, it can also be declined. The invitation will then disappear from the screen.

As a grower, having a direct VMP connection with a buyer offers you several advantages:
The buyer receives your entire product supply through a single connection.
The buyer can place orders directly from your supply, so you do not have to enter orders yourself.
You can verify exactly which products from your supply are being transmitted to the buyer via the VMP connection.
Setting up VMP connections for a sales organization
As a sales organization, you can also create VMP connections for customers. These VMP connections transmit the sales organization's entire product offering.
Creating a VMP connection follows the same process described above, and the connection must also first be accepted by the buyer.
Information on setting up the connection (for the buyer)
When the buyer accepts your invitation for a VMP integration, they first receive the integration details, which can be processed within their own software system.
Next, the buyer can configure settings to specify exactly which supply they wish to receive.
Curious about how this works? Check out the buyer Helpcenter page on setting up the VMP integration. You can also send this Helpcenter link to the buyer in question.
